Hey there! I'm Helder, a senior product designer with a decade of experience passionately devoted to creating exceptional user experiences. I began my design journey as a graphic designer, later developed a passion for technology and innovation, and then—before I knew it—I found myself in UX design, where I currently work as a product designer.
Originally from Portugal, I relocated to London because of my love for art, television, music, and cinema. While in London, I've collaborated with companies in the entertainment sector, including NBC Universal and Discovery Inc.
Over the years, I have worked with diverse teams that have further refined my skills and understanding necessary for user-centred design. My approach is grounded in empathy, exploring user needs at their core to craft exceptional solutions and cultivate long-term engagement.
Outside of work, I recharge through nature, music gigs, and cooking, which help me bring fresh insights and creativity to my designs. I'm eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth in this dynamic field.

I helped define our design identity and created shared libraries for Web, Android, iOS, and tvOS, ensuring our teams had consistent patterns and guidelines to follow. Working closely with developers, we brought UI concepts to life, focusing on what users need. By encouraging continuous testing and gathering user feedback, we maintained high standards for both functionality and design, leading to a user-friendly interface that truly enhances the experience.

Along the way, I’ve connected with clients from diverse backgrounds and learned to appreciate the complexities of the product life cycle. My passion for creating meaningful user experiences has only grown, and I’m driven to design solutions that function seamlessly across platforms like iOS, Android, and responsive web. With each project, I’ve understood the real impact that thoughtful design can have on users, and I’m eager to continue exploring this journey!
